An investigation has been launched following a spate of car thefts this morning after owners left their vehicles unattended but with the engines running in an attempt to de-ice them.
Four cars were stolen from three different locations in Devon - all by 8.30am today.
Two cars were stolen from private homes and nha cai da88 two were taken from a garage forecourt.
The public are now being warned not to leave their cars running while sat in the warmth of their homes.
Police received the first report at around 7am that a vehicle had been taken from Totnes Road in Newton Abbot.
Police released information about these four vehicles and are asking for the public's help in finding them
Two unknown people were seen on the driveway when the five-door red VW T-Roc with registration WJ20 XUR was taken.
Police were then contacted at about 8.10am to reports that a vehicle had been taken from a property in Tedburn St Mary.
