Mark 'MG' Geyer has been sensationally sacked by Triple M according to The Daily Telegraph.
The NSW State of Origin legend and breakfast show co-host was reportedly given the news by his 'Melbourne boss' who travelled to Sydney to deliver it in person.
Geyer was missing from this morning's show, and his co-hosts Mick Molloy, Cat Lynch and Natarsha Belling made no mention of his absence.
Southern Cross Austereo announced two weeks ago that Molloy would be returning to Melbourne to host the city's breakfast show in 2025.
However plans for Geyer, 56, have not been announced by the network.
Daily Mail Australia have reached out to Southern Cross Austereo for comment.

Geyer is a former football star who played in the 1980s, 1990s before retiring from the sport at the end of the 2000 season.
He joined Triple M's breakfast show in Sydney in 2022 alongside Lawrence Mooney, Jess Eva and Chris Page.
After landing his role, Mark said: 'I'm excited to be setting the alarm once again for Triple M Sydney breakfast, and I couldn't think of a better team to be joining!'
'Lawrence keeps me laughing every morning. Jess is her own unique brand of hilarity and Pagey and I go way back. Bring on 2022!'
In 2020, Geyer's daughter made headlines when she was awarded $125,000 over damages for false claims made about a leaked sex tape.
Montanna Geyer sued Fouad Ghosn in the NSW District Court over a March 2019 post identifying her as 'the bird' in an intimate video illegally filmed by Penrith Panthers back Tyrone May.
While the offending image and text was taken down within days, Mr Ghosn used each request to apologise and retract the false claim to make 'further defamatory and insulting remarks in the most public way that he could', namely the page followed by 300,000 Facebook accounts.
Geyer and his son Logan also gave evidence about her distress and their attempts to identify the post's publisher.

Earlier this month, Triple M saw a massive shakeup at the network with Marty Sheargold stepping into a new role after vacating the breakfast slot in July.
Sheargold, 53, will extend his national Marty Sheargold Show into the drive shift in Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Currently, the show airs nationally from Monday to Friday, 3-4pm.
Listeners in these regions will now enjoy an additional two hours of the popular comedian's show from 4-6pm.
'I'm looking forward to returning to the Drive shift for NSW and Queensland listeners in 2025 and giving them the extended version of the show,' Sheargold said in a statement.
'The commute home is a time to unwind and finish the day with a chat and a laugh, sensa 138 and that's exactly what I will be aiming to deliver.'
Sheargold's shift into drive means that a raft local shows will be axed in 2025.
The Rush Hour, featuring Leisel Jones, Liam Flanagan, and Ben Dobbin, which airs in Queensland, will not be returning next year.

Similarly, NSW's Rush Hour with Gus Worland and Jude Bolton will also be discontinued.

The Rush Hour team, consisting of James Brayshaw and Billy Brownless, who are currently heard in Melbourne and Tasmania, will now also be broadcast in South and Western Australia, as well as on some Triple M regional stations in the southern states.
Liesel Jones took to Instagram to share the news with her fans, posting a photo of the on-air trio.
'Well it was fun while it lasted,' she wrote.
'Sad news today that @triplem_rushhour with Leisel Jones, Liam and Dobbo won't go ahead in 2025.'
'I've learnt a lot working this job and I've enjoyed the laughs,' the post continued.
'Our intention with this show was to always lift your drive home no matter what kind of day you've had.

'[They are] shows who have all had amazing stints and been hugely entertaining. I'm committed to carrying on their legacies.'
